| The Onondaga
County Clerk's Office has been notified that a surcharge
has been passed by the State increasing the Records
Management fee starting July 1, 2002. This
surcharge is being raised from $5.00 to $20.00, and
applies to all recorded documents including index
numbers. Specifically, index numbers will cost
$185. Recorded documents that now have the $5.00
surcharge will cost $20 on July 1.
A new fee schedule
reflecting this increase will be made available by the
County Clerk's Office in the near future.
