| Due to a
terrific response, the 2002 Annual
Daniel F. Mathews, Jr., Memorial Golf Outing on
August 21, 2002, has had to allow for more playing
time. Registration will now begin at 10:30,
Shotgun Start at 11:00, lunch will be served at the
turn. The outing will be held at the Liverpool Golf and
Country Club on Morgan Road.
New this year will be the
Captain & Crew
format - long hoped for by many.
Putt
for Cash returns, again underwritten by
DocuLegal. The purse will be $5,000 to the lucky putter
who sinks a 50-foot putt. Your first putt is free and
subsequent opportunities will cost $5 each. Last year,
Tom Robertson came within inches of winning the pot. He
did win two tickets to a Buffalo Bills game as a
consolation prize.
The day concludes with a
buffet dinner at 5:00 p.m., door prizes, and awards.

Deadline is August 15, 2002.
Opportunities still exist
for law firms, individuals, or vendors to sponsor a hole
for $100 or a golf cart for $40. Sponsors will
receive recognition in the BarReporter and
in our golf outing program, along with a sign containing
the sponsor's name posted at the hole.

Cost is $75 per person for the day, and payment must be
received by the Onondaga County Bar Association, 109
South Warren Street, Suite 1000, Syracuse, New York,
13202, no later than Monday, August 19. Hope to
