Solo and Small Firm Practice Report

In April, 2004, Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye established the Commission to Examine Solo and Small Firm Practice to examine the unique challenges faced by solo and small firm practitioners and make recommendations for improvements to facilitate their practices in the New York Courts.  The Commission, chaired by June Castellano, Esq., a Rochester solo practitioner, consisted of thirty solo and small firm practitioners from across the state including our very own James F. Dwyer, Esq. and Therese Wiley Dancks, Esq., (also Chair of the OCBA Solo and Small Firm Practice Committee).

The Report is available here for download.  A summary will be published in the OCBA Bar Reporter and an opportunity for discussion is being planned with our local experts in attendance sometime this May.  Watch for further details.

After you've had a chance to read the report, we'd like to hear what you think.

Thanks!
