In April,
2004, Chief
Judge Judith
S. Kaye
established
the
Commission
to Examine
Solo and
Small Firm
Practice to
examine the
unique
challenges
faced by
solo and
small firm
practitioners
and make
recommendations
for
improvements
to
facilitate
their
practices in
the New York
Courts. The
Commission,
chaired by
June
Castellano,
Esq., a
Rochester
solo
practitioner,
consisted of
thirty solo
and small
firm
practitioners
from across
the state
including
our very own
James F.
Dwyer, Esq.
and Therese
Wiley Dancks,
Esq., (also
Chair of the
OCBA Solo
and Small
Firm
Practice
Committee).
