The 5th
Judicial District Pro Bono Action Now Program presents a
FREE CLE entitled "Handling a Child or Spousal Support
Matter 101" (and special considerations when your client
is a victim of domestic violence. You will receive
2 CLE credits from the NYS Judicial Institute.
Support
Magistrate Kathryn C. Davies, Matrimonial Referee Robert
J. Jenkins and Mary C. John, Esq. of the Frank H.
Hiscock Legal Aid Society will cover all aspects of
handling a support case in both Family and Supreme
courts. All attorneys who attend will agree to handle
one support case for a victim of domestic violence.
The
program will be held on November 3, 2006 from noon to
2 pm in Room 400 of the County Courthouse. You MUST
pre-register by calling Legal Services at 475-3127. |
