This CLE training is FREE to Past and Future volunteers who agree to provide pro bono legal service at one of the following three clinics in the coming year:
• VLP Family Court Clinic: provide assistance and advice to low income pro se litigants filing custody, visitation and child support petitions in Family Court. Operates every Wednesday, 12:00 – 3:00 pm & Friday 9 :00 am – 12:00 pm at the Family Court.
• VLP Talk to a Lawyer Clinics: provide advice, information and referral to community members with any civil legal question. Operates Monday through Thursday at varying times in different community locations.
• Vera House Monday Night Legal Clinic: The Central New York Women’s Bar Association collaborates with Vera House to provide legal advice, information and referral to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Operates Monday nights 5:30 – 7:45pm at Vera House Main Office, Thompson Road.
