While the courtroom venue is a place to hear cases it’s not a place to let it all hang out and the successful lawyer knows how to finesse the difference. This hour-long, all-ethics CLE seminar covers what you need to know to conduct yourself professionally in the courtroom while also providing effective counsel for your clients.

  • How-to’s on building relationships with colleagues, court personnel and the judiciary
  • Dealing with the media
  • Effective ethical client representation

Presenter: Nicholas J. DeMartino, Esq., of Green & Brenneck

Recently named a Red Cross Real Hero for his work in establishing an animal advocacy program in Onondaga County, DeMartino is also the chair of the Criminal Law Section of the Onondaga County Bar Association. An active OCBA member for many years, he is a past-president of the organization (2014). A former New York State Assistant Attorney General and Onondaga County Assistant District Attorney, for 16 years, DeMartino is currently a criminal defense attorney in private practice.
