Hon. Deborah H. Karalunas, 5th Judicial District, Commercial Division Onondaga County Presiding Supreme Court Justice

Appointed in 2007 to her current position, Judge Karalunas also serves as Chair of the 5th Judicial District Women in the Courts Committee and the 5th Judicial Libary Board. She is an active member of both the Onondaga County Bar Association, Central New York Women’s Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Onondaga County Bar Foundation as well as 2nd Vice President of the Association of Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and is a cum laude graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, Class of 1982.

Thomas E. Myers, Esq., Retired, “Emeritus,” Bond, Schoeneck & King, Syracuse University College of Law Adjunct Professor, NY Civil Practice

Mr. Myers serves as the Bond, Schoeneck & King Pro Bono Coordinator and as such supervises the pro bono volunteer service for the law firm. Since 2012, for his work on behalf of indigent tenants in Syracuse City Court and the Village of East Syracuse Justice Court he has been designated an “Empire State Counsel” by the New York State Bar Association.
