Many new members of the community are eligible to seek protected status based on their nationality and the time they’ve been in the United States. Join Volunteer Lawyers Project of Central New York lawyers Sara McDowell and Grace Zaiman, who run the agency’s Immigration Law Program and who will walk CLE participants through the application process and how they can assist at one of several upcoming community clinics.
