The Child Parent Security Act became effective February 15, 2021. This CLE provides insight into this comprehensive law that legally establishes a child’s relationship to his or her parents where the child is conceived through assisted reproduction.

Additionally, the CPSA legalizes certain surrogacy agreements in New York if the statutory requirements are met. And the new law significantly impacts your family law practice plus has implications for estate planning.
