QPR Suicide Prevention Training by Contact Community Services

WHEN: 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 | WHERE: 2nd Floor Ballroom, OCBA Offices at 431 E. Fayette Street, Syracuse, NY | COST: FREE | Light refreshments offered

There are only 30 spots available for this important training.

What does QPR stand for?

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying “Yes” to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor.

The OCBA offers this training to the first 30 participants who register. If registration is closed you can put your name on a waiting list by contacting Carrie Chantler at (315) 579-2578. If you register for this course and you are not able to make it – please also contact Carrie so she can fill your slot.
